Alexandrea Waytes is a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over two decades of experience in the mental health field and a proven commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive care.

 

With a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University and a diverse clinical background, Alexandrea has dedicated her career to improving the mental well-being of patients across the lifespan, from children as young as five to older adults.

 

Her journey began as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, working on challenging psychiatric units, where she developed her expertise in managing mental health crises and providing patient-centered care. Over the years, Alexandrea expanded her scope to include medication management and therapy, allowing her to address the multifaceted needs of her patients effectively.

 

Alexandrea is board-certified in Psychiatric–Mental Health Nursing and holds additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), CPR, and Crisis Prevention Intervention. Her extensive training and hands-on experience equip her to address the complexities of mental health care with empathy and precision.
